Hi all, Has anyone here experienced yellowing leaves on Calathea white star plants? I'm currently experiencing it, and I'd love to know what the best first aid is.
I've seen this happen before, and in my experience, it was caused by overwatering. I was also unsure what to do and why it was happening. When I tried to repot the plant, I found that the roots were slightly rotten. This led me to conclude that my plant was overwatering. I cut the damaged part and moved it to new soil, watering it less often. This plant even seemed to like it more.
Hi Louise.. your calathea white star's leaves are turning yellow, but don't worry! This signifies it is time to bring it into your house. A humidifier will help restore its natural beauty, and you can place it in a planting medium with good drainage. Mist the leaves regularly, and watch as it thrives in its new environment!
